LEARN SPANISH AT SAN JUAN BEACH

In Our Personalized Teaching Academy “La Academia”, we offer you Spanish courses tailored to your needs, from one week duration, according to your available time, and expressly planned to obtain maximum performance.

OUR COURSES:

-  Intensive Spanish Course for foreigners:
    Thought for all who wish to intensively learn or reinforce our language, it comprises an exhaustive treatment of all of the most important aspects of the language: written and oral comprehension, written and oral expression, pronunciation and phonetics.  Each aspect is provided by a specialised teacher, and with more or less depth in relation to the level of the student. 
The course consists of a duration of four daily hours of active teaching from Monday to Friday, with a minimum enrolling fee of €110 Euros per week.
-  Extensive Spanish Course for Foreigners                                                                                           
Thought for all who wish to couple their holiday in Spain with learning or reinforcement of our language in depth, based essentially on all practical aspects of the written language, oral expression and comprehension.
The course consists of a duration of three daily active teaching hours, from Monday to Thursday, with a minimum enrolling fee of €80 Euros per week.

-  Oral Workshop   
A workshop where we work exclusively with speech. The teacher will propose themes of conversation, providing specific vocabulary in relation to the selected topic, and will evolve around it during the duration of the session.  Within each session there will be a different theme.  The workshop consists of two days per week, three active teaching hours per day. Price per week: €55 Euros.

LEVELS

Beginners (A1)

For students with no knowledge of the Spanish language.  Our objective, at the end of the course, will be for you to be able to understand diverse simple situations of every day life.

Basic (A2)

Participants in this course already hold an elementary vocabulary of basic knowledge of grammatical structures.  At this level the student gets to participate in basic conversations, improving vocabulary and grammar (including past tenses).

Intermediate (B1)

Directed to students already familiarised with elemental grammar.  More complex structures are studied, and more advanced conversations are held.

Advanced (B2)

Conceived for students who know the principal forms of Spanish grammar, but who wish to deepen its usage.  This course will provide you with a high level of communication, whether in every-day common situations, or at work.

As to our location, we are placed in an incomparable frame: The San Juan Beach.  Within only ten minutes walking distance from La Academia, the beach maintains its reward of ‘Blue Flag’ in representation of its quality and great extension.  

   Also, we are a mere 7 minutes from the city of Alicante, taking the bus or the tram in front of our school.
We offer you the possibility of providing you accommodation, as long as we are notified with sufficient time, and subject to availability.  The accommodation could be with families, apartments, hostels, and hotels; all are very close to the beach.

1.    The duration of active teaching hours is 50 minutes.
2.    The realisation of the course is subject to a minimum participation of six students.
3.    The maximum number of students per class is 15.
4.    When making a reservation, 30% of the cost of the course is paid in advance.

At La Academia, we intend to get the student closer to the Spanish language and culture in order to improve knowledge of our language through direct contact with the country, its people and its gastronomy, and this is why LA ACADEMIA offers diverse activities both recreational and cultural such as:

●    Visit to the archaeological site Lucentum to discover the origins of the city of Alicante.
●    Visit to the MARQ: Archaeology Museum of Alicante, where on display you can find different aspects of the Pre-history, Iberian Culture, Roman Culture, The Middle, Modern and Contemporary Ages.
●    Visit to the MUBAG: Alicante Fine Arts Museum, where there are on display the principal exponents from XVI century art from Alicante, up to the first decades of the XX century.
●    Visit to the Theme Park of TERRA MITICA in Benidorm.
●    Visit to the Zoological Park TERRA NATURA in Benidorm where, divided by zones, fauna and flora of America, Asia and Europe are on show.
●    Visit to the Isle of Tabarca, small fishing island, located 30 minutes from Alicante, declared a nature reserve for its great variety of fish and marine vegetation. Ideal for a relaxing day out to practice snorkelling, as well as tasting its typical “Caldero” dish.

HOSTEL
You can check the hostel at www.complejomontroyal.com.  It has double and triple rooms with own bathroom, recently renovated.  The rooms are air conditioned and have a television set.  Also, the hostel includes a swimming pool, very important for the summer.  The premises have free wifi. The beach is only 5 minutes walking distance, as well as the “La academia”.
FAMILIES
All our families have passed a pre-interview with us, and they are all near the school and the beach. Ideal for those who wish to practice our language in depth.
APARTMENTS 
All the apartments have been personally checked by ourselves. They are all within urbanizations with communal swimming pool and tennis court.  The apartments have a sitting room with TV, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and they are very near the beach.  They are perfectly communicated with the “La Academia” by tram or bus.
